Side Azura | PADI dive center

Wreck diving at the TCSG-117? You can do it when you're a PADI Advanced diver or have a similar certificate from an other diving organisation. TCSG stands for Türkiye Cumhuriyet Sea Guard, who donated ship number 117 (and a couple of others) to the scuba dive community in Turkey.

This wreck of a Turkish coastguard boat sits about 3 km out of Side, where it was sunk as an artificial reef in 2008. It takes 10-15 minutes by boat from our dive center to get to the 30m long wreck, which sits at a maximum depth of 25m.

The wreck is home to plenty of schooling fish and some sizeable grouper and lionfishes. Near the wreck is a part of the Side Underwater Museum that you can visit at the same dive. Please click on the link to go to our Facebook Album for more pictures.
